BPL Job & Tech Program
Campaign, Content Strategy, Messaging Framework, and Copy
Working with a designer, I developed a tagline, visual identity, and content strategy for a job and technology program that offered events and classes across the borough. The program's goal was to reach low-income neighborhoods and patrons with few resources, in particular.
We developed and produced newsletters, ads and videos that highlighted aspects of the program held at 60 library branches. We took field trips to libraries across the borough to really understand the programs and resources being offered, as well as meet patrons and librarians. I conducted interviews, wrote articles and video scripts, and created presentations for the city agency funding the project.
It was a very cool and successful program that assisted thousands of Brooklynites with job training and resources.
