A Teacher's Guide to the Brooklyn Collection

The Brooklyn Collection at Brooklyn Public Library is a huge archive of documents, resources, and ephemera about the history of Brooklyn. The project coordinator for the Collection came to BPL’s Marketing & Communications Department requesting to update the teacher’s guide. The information, lesson plans, and general tone all needed to be updated and refreshed. The project coordinator and I worked together to come up with new ideas and ways of presenting the projects, clear instructions for lessons and using resources, and information about the Brooklyn Collection itself.
